A delegation of the Jordan Nuclear Regulatory Commission visited the NRA

On 18th and 19th March 2010 a delegation of the Jordan Nuclear Regulatory Commission (JNRC) led by Dr. Jamal Sharaf, chairman of the JNRC, visited the NRA. The issues related to licensing and construction of a new nuclear unit were discussed at the meeting between JNRC representatives and NRA management.
During the meeting the NRA practices and experiences related to the Bulgarian regulatory body policy in the area of the nuclear safety legislation framework, secondary legislation, training of personnel, improvement qualification of the NRA employees as well as international co-operation of the NRA were presented.
The guests presented information on establishment and structuring of the JNRC as well as on its goals and functions. The future collaboration between the NRA and JNRC was also discussed.
