The NRA representatives participated in conference of the implementation of the IAEA Code of Conduct on the Safety and Security of Radioactive Sources

An open-ended meeting of technical and legal experts for sharing of information as to States’ implementation of the Code of Conduct on the Safety and Security of Radioactive Sources and its supplementary Guidance on the Import and Export of Radioactive Sources, was held from 17th to 21st May 2010 at the IAEA Headquarters in Vienna. 160 experts attended the meeting from 92 Members States of the IAEA.
The NRA presented the National report on the implementation of requirements ensuing from both international documents.
The issues discussed at the international forum and the proposals related to the implementation of the Code are reflected in the protocol that will be published by IAEA.
