Nuclear Emergency Exercise

On 8 July 2010 the Emergency Centre on NRA participated in Level 3 Nuclear Response Exercise organised by the European Union. In according with the scenario has been simulated accident in Germany NPP Brokdorf with release radioactive materials in the atmosphere.
The objectives of this exercise are to test the receipt of emergency messages through the ECURIE system by the EU Member States and to examine the response to these reports by the competent authorities in the early stages of the accident.
