National Training Course on Security of Radioactive Material during Transport

In the period 19 – 22 July 2010 in the Training Centre of the Nuclear Regulatory Agency was held the first National Training Course on Security of Radioactive Material During Transport. The Course was held with the co-operation of the Department of Energy of the United States, the National Laboratory ,,Oak Ridge” and the Nuclear Regulatory Agency as part of the Global Threat Reduction Initiative Program. Except the theoretical issues, were reviewed technical systems for tracing of the transports with radioactive materials including the real time monitored parameters. Representatives of the Ministry of Interior, State Agency for National Security, Ministry of Transport Information Technologies and Communications, NRA, State Enterprise ,,Radioactive waste” and licensee for transport of radioactive materials participated in the course.
