IAEA’s Board of Governors meeting, 17-18 November 2011

Regular IAEA’s Board of Governors meeting was convened on 17th and 18th November 2011 in the IAEA Headquarter in Vienna.
35th Member States adopted the Report of the Director General on the Program for Technical Cooperation for 2012 – 2013, implementation of the Action Plan on Nuclear Safety (based on the Fukushima Daiichi accident and approved on the last General Conference September 2011) and implementation of the NPT Safeguards Agreement in DPRK, Islamic Republic of Iran and Syrian Arab Republic.
Regarding Iran the Board of Governors has adopted Resolution, introduced by USA, Great Britain, Germany, France, Russia and China.
Bulgaria is a co-sponsor of the Resolution. Resolution urges Iran once again to comply fully and without delay with its obligations under relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council, and to meet the requirements of the IAEA Board of Governors, and to intensify the dialog of the competent Iranian authorities with the IAEA.
